Welcome to our Frost Community Spotlight! We recently joined one of The Plus Bus Boutique’s beach parties and what a blast it was! The plus-size consignment shop in Northeast Los Angeles owned by fashion designer Jen Wilder and TV producer Marcy Guevara-Prete, opened in 2015 and has since created a space for the plus size community to feel fabulous.
And it goes beyond their brick and mortar. The Plus Bus hosts live online sales through their Instagram and in-person meetups like the Fat Babe Beach Party.
One of the biggest events of the year is their Maskerade Ball on August 28th at the W Hotel in Hollywood. The event features cocktails, canapés, dancing, photo opps and a silent auction to benefit Ashlee Marie Preston’s non-profit You Are Essential.
Named one of LA Magazine’s Best of LA Shops of 2021, you may even find some pieces at the shop worn and donated by Lizzo. Whether looking for that perfect dress for a night out in Hollywood or casual beachwear for a day out in Malibu, the Plus Boutique has everything you’re looking for.
